Cancellations / refund policy
- If you cancel your booking 60 days or more before your booked arrival date then we will offer you a full refund.
- If you cancel your booking 60 – 30 days before your booked arrival date we will offer a 50% refund OR we will offer an alternative arrival date within 6 months of your original booking date, subject to availability.
- If you cancel your booking 29 – 8 days before your booked arrival date then no refund is offered but we will offer an alternative arrival date within 6 months of your original booking date, subject to availability.
- If you cancel your booking 7 days or less before your arrival date then no refund or alternative booking will be offered.
If we have to change or cancel your booking
We will do everything we can to ensure that your visit is an enjoyable experience, but on rare occasions we may need to alter or cancel your booking due to exceptional circumstances. If we are no longer able to honor your booking we will either offer you a full refund OR an alternative arrival date within 6 months of your original booking date, subject to availability.
Insurance
All motor homes, caravans and vehicles must be fully insured. A copy of your insurance policy must be made available for us to view on request.
Loss / damage
Swansea Council will not accept liability for any loss, damage or theft when using the Tourer Park. We strongly recommend that vehicles are alarmed and personal items are locked away and out of sight.
CCTV
In the interests of personal safety and crime prevention, CCTV cameras are installed and images within the Tourer Park are recorded. More information about the system, the complaints procedure and how to access the footage can be found at www.swansea.gov.uk/cctv
Noise
Noise must be kept to a minimum after 10pm. Complaints will be investigated and members not abiding by this rule will be instructed to leave and membership revoked.
Antisocial behaviour
Should any guests cause problems or inconvenience others, we reserve the right to ask them to leave the Tourer Park without refund. We also reserve the right to refuse bookings for any reason whatsoever.
Fire extinguisher
All motor homes and caravans must be equipped with a suitable fire extinguisher. Guests are encouraged to read fire action notices and to familiarise themselves with the locations of firefighting equipment on arrival.
BBQ’s
Barbeques must be used at the designated site, you must ensure used barbeques are disposed of safely in the bin provided.
No smoking areas
Smoking is prohibited within 5 metres of the Tourer Park pedestrian gate due to the close proximity of a petrol storage tank and petrol pump. Smoking is also prohibited within the shower blocks and chemical toilet room.
Children
We’ll do everything we can to keep you and your little ones safe, but the safety of your children remain your responsibility at all times. Please note there are vehicles moving around the parking bays and the pedestrian gate is located close to the water’s edge.
Pets
We don’t accept dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act. These include Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro and Japanese Tosa. Other dogs must be kept on leads and a responsible adult must be in charge of the dog. If you have a dog that’s noisy or behaving badly, we may ask you to remove it from the Tourer Park. Dog mess must be cleaned up straightaway by the person in charge of the dog. We will consider accepting other types of pets but this must be agreed by us before booking.
Caravans
The Tourer Park is set up primarily for Motor Homes and we do not offer caravan storage.
Additional vehicles
Other than the Motor Home all other vehicles associated with the booking must park outside the Tourer Park.
